ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Paper Submission Terms
- Papers will only be submitted through the online system. Papers that are submitted via e-mail or post will not be admitted.
- Deadline for paper submission is
August 29, 2019. The system will shut down on this announced date.
- If this is your first time using the online paper submission system, you must sign up for the system from the "Yeni Kullanıcı" (New User) section.
Rules for Abstracts
- The maximum word count for an abstract is 350 excluding the title and name of the author.
- System will not allow more than 350 words to be typed in the space allocated for the abstract.
- The font used for submission is automatically standardized for all papers by the system and it will not be possible to use another font.
- The paper flow must be as follows: introduction, tools and methodology, conclusion and discussion.
- The title must be explaining the content of the study. The title of the abstract must be typed in upper-case letters except for words such as pH, or NaCl where lower-case letter is a must. Please indicate what an abbreviation stands for, except for a chemical symbol or international units, the first time you use it in a text in brackets.
- Papers on researches regarding human experimentation will be subject to the approval of the ethical board and must be in line with the Turkish law.
- Please pay attention to avoid any typos since abstracts that are submitted via the Internet will be printed as they are.
Feedback
- The submitted abstracts will be evaluated via the online system and the evaluation results will be sent to you as an e-mail starting from August 30, 2019. The user will be able to follow-up on the whole evaluation process by logging into the system by using his e-mail address and password.
Posters
- All approved poster abstracts must be prepared as "e-posters" on the system.

E-Posters
After you are notified in written that your paper is approved as e-poster,
- Have all documents (Only text, image, table, figure, etc. in Word, PP format) to be included on your poster ready in your computer.
- Log into the system using your AbstractAgent™ account you used while submitting your paper.
- Click on the "Bildirilerim" (My Abstracts) button on the left column. Here, you will be able to access all your abstracts.
- Click on the "Tam Metin / Poster Yükle" (Upload Full Text/Poster) button below your abstracts that are approved as poster.
- On this screen, click on the related sections on your poster and "copy-paste" and add figures, or tables, if any, and save.
- Please check your posters by clicking on the "Ön İzleme" (Preview) button.
- When you are sure that everything is in place, click on the "Onayla" (Approve) button.
- Your posters will be actively demonstrated on the computers with the "e-poster player" at the congress center throughout the congress.
- Note: E-poster submission will start after paper approvals.
Case Council
Within the framework of TUSAD's 41st National Congress, "Case Council" sessions will be held to create an environment where physicians can discuss cases, which they encounter on the field under difficult conditions, have a hard time diagnosing and want to share with their colleagues, on a scientific platform and encouraging other colleagues to send papers to the congress.
In these sessions, cases that are classified based on subjects will be discussed in a council (10-min long), which can be attended by all of our colleagues, chaired by 2 colleagues, who are experienced in their fields, and possible solutions will be tackled.
Points to take into consideration while uploading the case to the system
- The maximum word count for an abstract is 350 excluding the title and name of the author.
- System will not allow more than 350 words to be typed in the space allocated for the abstract.
- The title must be short but must indicate the properties of your case.
- You are free to upload a graph specific to your case.
