INVITATION LETTER

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to organize RESPIRATION 2019 at Bodrum Türkbükü Hilton Hotel on October 26-29, 2019. Right after the successful RESPIRATION 2018, the Board of Directors of Turkish Respiratory Society (TÜSAD) has designated the members of the Organization Committee of RESPIRATION 2019 to organize yet another high quality congress. As the members of the Organization Committee of RESPIRATION 2019, we have been working enthusiastically to keep up with the success of previous congresses.

RESPIRATION 2019 will be the 41st of national congresses organized by TÜSAD and a ‘National Congress with International Participation’ thanks to international authorities on the Organization Committee. This new initiative will pave the way for the publication of abstracts of oral presentations in English in the additional edition of the Eurasian Journal of Pulmonology (EJP).

We will celebrate our most august national holiday effusively during RESPIRATION 2019. Celebrating our national holiday together on the 96th anniversary of our Republic will add to our enthusiasm and crown the success of our Congress. When our Congress, which we have been organizing for 41 years with infinite fervor and boundless ardor, coincides with the holiday joy this year, we have decided the congress motto to be ‘Each Breath is a Festival’

Bodrum will embrace and mesmerize us with its history, nature and climate and the participants will ‘lose their hearts in Bodrum’ as in the words of the Fisherman of Halicarnassus.

The scientific program of the congress, which has been formulated by the joint efforts of TÜSAD Working Groups and Coordination Committees, has a spectrum of topics that would fulfill the expectations of participants. Experienced national and international scientists will make presentations on multiple topical subjects. The scientific program, having started with post-graduate training courses, will continue with rich and satisfactory scientific sessions for three consecutive days. Presentations will be delivered during oral and poster presentation sessions for three days and the best presentations will be rewarded.

We are designing a social program which will be to the liking of participants of all ages. We hope that you make a note of October 26-29, 2019 in your day planner in order to organize RESPIRATION 2019 together ‘with infinite fervor and boundless ardor’ and we are looking forward to adorning our scientific and social celebration with your contributions.
