TRS Publication Policy

The aim of TRS’s publications is to produce and distribute printed and online publications in accordance with the objectives stated in TRS’s charter in order to allow the sharing of information between members; to contribute to the member’s education; to ensure effective communication among the members; and to inform the public and patients.

The Eurasian Journal of Pulmonology: A peer-review scientific journal that is published three times a year. The journal’s publication rules are determined based on the recommendations of the editorial board and the approval of the Central Administrative Board. An additional issue of the journal may also be published by recommendation of TRS’s Central Administrative Board and the decision of the editorial board. The term of office for the editorial board of The Eurasian Journal of Pulmonology is 6 years. Individuals on the editorial board can be reelected at the end of their term. In case an editor leaves/resigns form his/her post prior to the end of his/her term, a new editor will be appointed to the board by the Central Administrative Board. For the publication of the journal, and agreement is signed with the publishing house and approved by the Central Administrative Board every year.
CURRENT PULMONOLOGY: A journal that is published 3 times a year in order to announce TRS’s scientific and social activities; to ensure communication between TRS’s members; and to inform of the current and latest news regarding pulmonary diseases. The journal in not peer-reviewed. The journal is prepared and printed under the responsibility and direction of an editor and an editor-in-chief, who are appointed by the Central Administrative Board for a period of 6 years. In the event that an editor or an editor-in-chief leaves his/her post, the Central Administrative Board will perform new appointments in their place.
